Dr. Abhinandan Mukhopadhyay is a Senior Consultant in Urology and Kidney Transplant at Artemis Hospital, Gurugram. He has an extensive educational background with an MCh in Urology from the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, and an MS in General Surgery from the same institution. He completed his MBBS from Calcutta National Medical College (CNMC), Calcutta University.
Dr. Mukhopadhyay is skilled in managing a wide range of urological problems, including kidney stone disease, male sexual problems, infertility, diseases of the prostate, and complex reconstructive procedures for urethral stricture. He has also performed numerous urological cancer surgeries. During his residency at PGIMER, Chandigarh, he participated in over 300 robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgeries.
After completing his super-specialty training, he joined as faculty at GGS Medical College and Hospital, Faridkot, Punjab, where he established the Department of Urology and was involved in the teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate medical students. Dr. Mukhopadhyay has performed more than 600 major urological surgeries over two and a half years.
