Dr. Deepak Jha is a highly specialized Surgical Oncologist with over 20 years of clinical experience, currently serving as the Chief of Breast Surgery and Senior Consultant in Surgical Oncology at Artemis Hospital, Gurugram, Delhi NCR, India.

An elite alumnus of the Surgical Oncology Department at AIIMS, New Delhi, he also holds an MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College and an MS from TNMC & Nair Hospital, Mumbai. Dr. Jha is a pioneer in his field, being among the first in India to be awarded a Breast Surgery Fellowship by the European Board of Surgery. He further honed his expertise through advanced training in Breast Oncoplasty from the European Society of Surgical Oncology and an observership at the world-renowned Vall D’Hebron Hospital in Barcelona, Spain.

Clinically, Dr. Jha focuses exclusively on Breast Cancer Surgery and Reconstruction, having performed over 5,000 surgical procedures. He is an expert in Breast Conservation Surgery, Nipple Sparing Mastectomy, and complex DIEP Free Flap Reconstruction. He is also a specialist in advanced diagnostic and preventive techniques, such as Radio-Guided Occult Lesion Localization (ROLL), Sentinel Lymph Node Biopsy, and Arm Reverse Mapping for lymphedema prevention. While his primary focus remains on specialized breast oncoplasty, he is proficient in Minimally Invasive and Robotic-Assisted approaches for cancer treatments, ensuring his patients benefit from the latest technological advancements in surgical oncology.

He is a recipient of the Best Paper Award at RGCON and the Visiting Fellowship at EBCC, Vienna. Dr. Jha is an active member of the European Society of Surgical Oncology (ESSO) and the Association of Breast Surgeons of India.
