Dr. Rahul Bhargava is a highly esteemed Hematologist, Hemato-Oncologist, and Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Specialist with over 20 years of vast experience in the field. He currently serves as the Principal Director and Chief of Hematology, Hemato-Oncology, and Bone Marrow Transplant at Fortis Memorial Research Institute (FMRI), Gurugram, Delhi NCR, India.

Dr. Bhargava holds an MD in Medicine and a DM in Clinical Haematology from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, and has advanced fellowship training in Unrelated and Haploidentical Transplants from Vancouver, Canada. His clinical distinction is defined by his successful completion of over 1,500 stem cell transplants and his pioneering work, which includes being the first Indian physician to perform and promote stem cell transplants for multiple sclerosis (in 2016).

He is renowned for his expertise in all types of BMT, including Haploidentical and Pediatric Transplants, and has been instrumental in founding BMT units at major hospitals, including Medanta-The Medicity and Artemis Hospital, before joining Fortis.

Dr. Bhargava is also a champion of community haematology, having established over 10 low-cost BMT centers across India and actively working toward an Anaemia and Thalassemia Free India, while remaining a prolific researcher and an International Mentor for haematology education in developing nations.
